This course will explore the basic physiology of plant growth and development. Also
discussed will be plant anatomy, bio-history, morphology and other related topics.

HORT 1530 Spring Plants (SP, SU)

This course will study the identification parameters, landscape features and growing
conditions of trees and shrubs of the Midwest climate zone. The class will combine
both in class and field experience.

HORT 1535 Arboriculture (A, SU)

This course introduces the basic principles of tree biology and care. Arboricultural
practices will be discussed and performed.
