Nominations sought for Men of the Year
For the past three years, the Male Access Network (MAN) Initiative has been honored to host the Men of the Year Awards Reception. Nearly 120 phenomenal male students, employees and community leaders have been recognized for showing everyday leadership.
Do you know someone who has been a great male role model? Has a male faculty or staff member positively impacted your life? Do you know a male student who works hard to make good choices every day?
Please send your Men of the Year nomination(s) to Sarah Baker, Global Diversity and Inclusion, by Friday, April 18. Include the nominee's name, as well as your own name, email address and contact number so that we may follow up with you for additional information.
The program is also asking for nominations for the Napoleon Bell Award. This award is presented annually to a Central Ohio community member who demonstrates ambition, persistence, integrity and support of Columbus State values – qualities embodied by the award's namesake. Nominations may also be sent to Sarah Baker.
The Fourth Annual Men of the Year Awards Reception will take place at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 1, in the Conference Center Ballroom, fourth floor WD. The event is free and open to the public.
