A Joyful Bicentennial Christmas

Columbus State’s Gospel Vocal Ensemble is planning a number of gigs around the holiday season, including their “A Joyful Bicentennial Christmas” show Dec. 7.

The Bicentennial Christmas show will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in the Nestor Hall Auditorium. The ensemble will perform Christmas classics with a gospel twist. There will also be a youth showcase, surprise gifts and a door prize.

The ensemble will also collect gloves for homeless families. Admission to A Joyful Bicentennial Christmas is free.

The Gospel Vocal Ensemble performs under the direction of Emma Easton. It is a credit course, MUS 1206, although community members can join the ensemble.
