Back the Cougars at their Thanksgiving tournament

Men’s and women’s teams host three challengers Nov. 16-17

The Columbus State men’s and women’s basketball teams will take on three challengers at their Thanksgiving Tournament this weekend.

The Cougars have invited Ohio State University-Newark and two community colleges from New York: Genessee Community College and Jamestown Community College. The men’s team is 1-0 in their season so far, and the women are 2-1.

Friday, November 16:

4:00 p.m. OSU-Newark vs. Genesee (men)
6:00 p.m. Columbus State vs. Genesee (women)
8:00 p.m. Columbus State vs. Jamestown (men)

Saturday, November 17:

11:00 a.m. Genesee vs. OSU-Newark (women)
1:00 p.m. Jamestown vs. OSU-Newark (men)
3:00 p.m. Genesee vs. Columbus State (men)
5:00 p.m. Oakland vs. Columbus State (women)

All games are held in the Delaware Hall Athletic Center on Columbus State’s downtown campus.

Admission is $5 per day, but free for Columbus State students and employees and children 5 and under. For more information or directions, please call (614) 287-5092.
