Day of Service Donations
Columbus State will again host the Goodwill Columbus donation drive that includes clothing and household items, as well as electronics recycling on Thursday, April 16, from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. (In-Service Day.) Look for a tent near the Nestor Hall tunnel.
Goodwill Columbus accepts donations that can be sold in their stores or recycled. These donated items fund valuable programs and services which help build independence, quality of life, and work opportunities for individuals with disabilities and other barriers.
Donors will receive donation receipts on site. Goodwill works with R-2 certified vendors to ensure that the intellectual privacy from computers is protected and all non-working electronic devices are recycled in an environmentally friendly fashion. To see what types of donations are accepted, and what kind of electronics can be taken for recycling, go to the Columbus State Hub to view a flyer.
