Running two departments simultaneously – that’s how Biological Chairperson Larry Mayer summed up the talent of Pat Campbell before she was announced as the latest Employee of the Month. While Campbell is the Office Associate for Biological Sciences, she was doing double duty last year as the department was split from Physical Sciences.
For months, Campbell trained a new associate while she helped a new chairperson settle in. When both left unexpectedly, Mayer says she was instrumental keeping both departments running until she was able to acclimate another new chairperson and another new associate.
Campbell started with the college in March 2008.

KRP prepares for Delaware
Beginning with the first day of Autumn 2010 registration, Knowledge Resources & Planning will be reporting daily enrollment statistics for the Delaware Campus in addition to total enrollment for the Columbus State District. The spreadsheet has two tabs to report these enrollments, one labeled "District Grand Total" enrollment, one labeled "Delaware Campus Total". Please review carefully the definitions below to understand what each of these tabs represent.
Columbus State Community College District Grand Total
This total represents the sum of all distinct students taking at least one class.
Delaware Campus Students Total
This total represents the sum of all distinct students taking at least one class at the Delaware Campus
It is important to remember that the Columbus State Community College District Grand Total includes Columbus and Delaware Campus students, all students taking classes at off-campus sites, and all students taking distance learning classes.
Please join the excitement in following the growth of Columbus State's new campus. Contact Brian Seeger at extension #2663 or email@example.com if you have any questions about enrollment statistics for Autumn 2010.
