Selfpay High School Students (Option C) THIS OPTION IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. All Selfpay High School Students must have information on file with the K-12 Initiatives Department and they are expected to pay for all fees, books, and supplies. The students who are either under the age of 18* and/or have no high school diploma and are in high school are still expected to complete additional information. There is not a high school grade point minimum for this option. Students must meet the prerequisites for each course as listed in the Columbus State course descriptions. The Selfpay High School Student (Option C) population along with all PSEO and home schooled students has scheduling restrictions, which must be lifted prior to registering for classes. Students are expected to register for their classes and add/drop classes in the same manner as all Columbus State Community College students except they will need their scheduling restrictions lifted prior to accessing their schedule. A Course Request Form is needed each quarter to lift scheduling restrictions**. The student may be requested to provide their high school/school district with a copy of their quarter schedule and grades. The college or the Underage Enrollment Office will not provide this information. Please, be advised Columbus State Community College or the K-12 Initiatives Department cannot determine if our college classes will count for high school credit. You will need to contact your high school guidance counselor/school district. Columbus State Community College and/or the K-12 Initiatives Department do not provide any financial assistance to Selfpay High School Students (Option C). Parent(s)/guardian(s)/students are expected to pay for their classes and all supplies. *There is a minimum age requirement for admission to the college and taking classes as an unattended minor. Please contact the Admissions Office at (614) 287-2669 for information. ** Restrictions are reactivated the day before the next quarter's scheduling window opens.
