Daryl Cullison, Department Chairperson dculliso@cscc.edu

A.A.S. from Hocking Technical College, B.S. from the University of Cincinnati, J.D. from Capital University.  

Chairperson Cullison started the Legal Assisting Program at Columbus State. Additionally, he chairs the Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical Services Programs. Professionally, he has worked as an assistant prosecutor and as a law enforcement officer.

Attorney Adjoua has practiced law in the areas of litigation, commercial transactions, labor and alternative dispute resolution. He generally teaches alternative dispute resolution, administrative law, business law, business organizations, computer assisted legal research and intelluctual property. 

Thomas G. Shanahan, Associate Professor    tshanaha@cscc.edu      

 B.S. from The Ohio State University                J.D. from Capital University

Prior to coming to Columbus State,  Mr. Shanahan engaged in the general practice of law. He teaches  alternative dispute resolution, criminal  law, general practice, litigation and professional malpractice. He is also the faculty advisor to the Student Paralegal Association.

Professor Stephens teaches primarily in the Law Enforcement Technology and  part-time in Legal Assisting supervising the Practicum/Internship program and teaching Legal Systems.

Once you are a student in the Legal Assisting program, you will be assigned an academic advisor according to your last name initial. Students should consult with their advisor when first entering the program and each quarter before registering for classes.
