Law
Day History
In 1958, Charles S. Rhyne established the first Law Day to honor the rule of
law, showing respect for that which is the key to individual freedom and
justice.
President Eisenhower was the first
president to issue a Law Day Proclamation, which has since been issued by
every President. Law Day is a day where all those involved in the law
come together and celebrate our great heritage of liberty, justice and
equality under law. |
