Physical
Plant Building
Located on the west side of campus (on
Grant Avenue
), the
Physical
Plant
Building
is due for occupancy summer 2001.
This 38,900 square-foot structure, built at a cost of $2
million, will house the Physical Plant Department and its associated
equipment and personnel. The
building was designed by DSI Architects, Inc.
Academic
Center C
Located at the corner of
Mt.
Vernon
and Cleveland Avenues, this academic building will be home to the
Biological and Physical Sciences Department, the Social and
Behavioral Sciences Department, classrooms, several conference
rooms, and an 8,000-foot computer pit.
Scheduled to open autumn 2002, this 70,000 square-foot
facility was designed by Maddox-NBD Architects at a cost of $10.4

Spring
Street Pedestrian Bridge
The pedestrian bridge connects Davidson Hall to the second level of
the parking garage. Designed
by
New York
artist Brower Hatcher, and funded by the “Percent for Art”
initiative, this one-of-a-kind structure is due to open summer 2001.
