How to
Order Items from OhioLINK
Columbus State ERC patrons may
order books and other items from other OhioLINK libraries if they are
not available at our library. The following instructions explain
the process.
-
Start by searching
Columbus State's CSLINK catalog. If we do not have what you are
looking for, or it is already checked out, missing, etc., you can
then switch to the OhioLINK Library Catalog to see if it is
available at another library. There are links at the top and bottom
of the CSLINK catalog page.

REQUEST
THIS ITEM link and follow the onscreen instructions
by choosing Columbus State Community College as the institution
you are affiliated with, entering your name and your Columbus
State ERC barcode number. The system will automatically ship the
item to the ERC unless you specifically choose to pick it up at
another college.

Delivery to CSCC is
usually within 3-5 business days. You will be notified when items
arrive by phone or mail, but it is the patron's responsibility to
check on the status of their request. Items are kept for pick-up two
weeks after delivery and then returned if not claimed. Patrons
can also check the status of their OhioLink requests using the
online account manager.
The status will be identified with one of the following
descriptions:
- Requested = waiting to
be shipped
- In Transit = shipped
from lending library
- Received = here at
Columbus State ERC and ready to be picked up at the
Circulation Desk
