Accounts Columbus State Library accounts are assigned to faculty, staff,
and registered students. Library accounts allow users to
check-out items from the Columbus State library as well as access OhioLINK resources including databases and print material.
Cougar ID All faculty, staff, and registered students are assigned a unique
ID number, commonly referred to as the Cougar ID number, by Columbus
State. The Cougar ID number also functions as
a library
account number. Students can verify their ID
number by visiting this secure
site and
selecting the "Discover my Cougar ID" option.
PINs The
Educational Resources Center (ERC) is requiring all library users to
create their own unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) effective
immediately. This is an extra
information, security measure to
protect students' records.
Your PIN must be a combination of 8 alpha-numeric characters (examples:
abcd1234, 12cd1928bf). For you to access library resources from
OhioLINK, you must first create your PIN here.
Users can manage their borrowed materials (including items
borrowed through OhioLINK) through the
account manager.
