Neera Sharma
Neera states that “ I loved and learned to draw on my own when I was very young. I was also good at stitching, embroidery and fabric painting. I painted my mother’s Saree and made bedspreads and cushions for home family friends. In the last twenty years I have created paintings in watercolor, oil, batik, ink, pencil, charcoal and digital mediums; now I want to try Acrylic, which dries very fast as compared to oil. The materials I have been using to paint on are stretch canvas, canvas paper and fabric. I am back to my artwork and want to explore all possible mediums and materials like wood and metal in which a work of art can be created. My art is centered mainly on realism. I love to make portraits, landscapes and still life and am ready to diversify my exploration.”
