George Stump
April 2008

George Stump is exhibiting his view of painting.  George states that by looking at different art forms (not just paintings) he was able to formulate a direction for his expression in painting a painting.  He states that there are still many ways to approach painting such as - sitting before a blank canvas or a canvas with the base coat color and gazing at the canvas, or half way through the painting the painting indicates a different direction to follow for the painting.

George says that you should search until you have found what you enjoy painting but do not force yourself into a certain form of painting, and if you like it more than one form of painting - so what!   George's form of paintings are based on Chinese and Japanese acrylics.
