selected, you’ll log in and complete an on-line application. Where can I find the College Policy and Procedures Manual? Answer: The College Policy & Procedure Manual can be found online on the Human Resources Website under the Policy and Procedure tab.
Where can I find payroll forms such as timecards, direct deposit forms and W-4’s? Answer: These forms can be found on the Human Resources website under the forms tab or you can stop by Human Resources located in Rhodes Hall room 115.
Where can I find the holiday schedule for the College? Answer: The Columbus State Community College holiday schedule is updated each year. Holidays include Labor Day, two days at Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day, Columbus Day, and Independence Day. The College calendar is located online at http://cscc.edu/docs/calen/calendar.htm.
Where can I find benefit enrollment and change forms? Answer: Many benefits forms can be found on the HR website under the Payroll, Compensation & Benefits tab on the Human Resources website www.cscc.edu/humanresources/.
How do I change my address and/or name? Answer: Go to the HR website at www.cscc.edu/humanresources/ and print off a change of address form, complete and return to Human Resources, Rhodes Hall, room 115.
How do I make changes to my benefits? Answer: Changes to your benefit elections are made by contacting Missy Graham, ext. 5715, in Human Resources. You may delete a benefit election at any time, in most cases. However, you may only change your medical and dental plan during the annual Open Enrollment period. You may add dependents during Open Enrollment or if you have a qualifying event. Please call Human Resources for more information.
When is Open Enrollment? Answer: The Open Enrollment period is generally a 30-day period beginning in the Spring. Any changes made to benefits during Open Enrollment will become effective July 1. Contact Human Resources at 287-2408 for further details.
How does the Employee Assistance Program work? Answer: Free, confidential, short-term counseling is available to employees (and their dependents) of Columbus State Community College through (Matrix) Employee Assistance Program. Counseling, advising and referral is available for a wide-variety of topics including financial planning. Appointments can be made by calling 614-475-9500 or 1-800-886-1171.
How do I contact my insurance company? Answer: The customer service phone numbers are listed on your medical and dental insurance cards. A phone list for all benefit providers is available through Human Resources on our website at www.cscc.edu/humanresources/ by clicking on the Payroll, Compensation and Benefits tab.
Why is Columbus State Community College a good place to work? Answer: The most frequent answer we hear is "the people." Sure we have an absolutely beautiful campus in downtown Columbus but it's the chance to work with dedicated faculty and staff and to work so closely with students that makes this a great place to be.
