CSCC Development Foundation Scholarships
The Columbus State Community College Development Foundation, Inc. is organized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable corporation that is operated exclusively to generate, receive, hold, invest, manage and allocate funds and property for the advancement, achievement, and support of the educational programs, services, and students of Columbus State Community College.
One of our main goals is to raise private dollars for scholarships for Columbus State students. Twice a year the scholarship listing is made available for students. The full listing is released in June for awards beginning the coming Academic Year. The mid-term listing is released in January for awards in Spring & Summer quarters.

Tech Prep, Partnership and SUCCESS Scholarships
Columbus State Community College (CSCC) offers scholarship programs to high school seniors: Tech Prep, Partnership and SUCCESS scholarships. These scholarship programs are designed to provide merit-based financial aid to students who will begin their enrollment at Columbus State Autumn Quarter and continue their enrollment through Spring quarter. Recipients are selected as a result of a competitive process including a review of high school grades, extracurricular activities and personal statements. For the 2008–2009 academic school year, CSCC awarded: 24 Tech Prep scholarships, 127 Partnership scholarships and 48 SUCCESS scholarships.
The Tech Prep and Partnership scholarships may be renewed for a second year. Renewal is based upon funding availability, and academic performance during the student’s first year at CSCC.
- Note: Recipients of 2010-2011 scholarships will be notified of award results by approximately April 30, 2010.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to insure that the application is completed and submitted on time. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered.
These scholarships are not transferable to other institutions.
The scholarship applications can be sent to the Financial Aid office or dropped off in person. We do not accept faxed copies.

Veterans Administration Dependent Scholarship
The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to the dependent children of U.S. military personnel who have been killed or permanently disabled as a result of an operational mission or training accident.

Think Again Scholarship for Adult Learners
Think you can't afford to go to college? Think again.
Applicants are now eligible for $1,500 the first year and an additional $2,000 the second year. The program has been expanded in its second year.
Submit your application by the first Friday of your first quarter of attendance. The deadline for Spring 2010 quarter: April 2, 2010.
Future Scientists of Ohio Scholarship
Future Scientist of Ohio Scholars Program provides full-tuition scholarships and an array of academic support services such as mentoring, internships, tutoring and guest speakers.

Outside Scholarships
Many other organizations grant scholarships. Many of them are posted at the Financial Aid office, and the Ohio Board of Regents maintains a list of scholarships. You must notify the Financial Aid office of any external scholarships you receive.
