telephone contact and verify meeting attendance of members 10 days in advance of Quarterly Meeting.
- Social/Athletic Activities Committee: To be responsible for all social/ athletic activities which shall include
annual banquet, guest
speakers, trips, movies, TGIF social events, intramural sports, holiday parties and any
other activities that shall be part of the Rho Omega Pi Chapter.
Starting Summer Quarter 1996 this committee will
schedule every quarter one (1) on campus social events for Student/Alumni/Faculty and one (1) off campus
event
Alumni/Faculty, these events will not exceed an organized 2 hour time period per event.
- Community Service Committee: To be responsible for compiling a list of community service projects for the
organization to consider participation
in. The service area shall be Franklin, Pickway, Union, Delaware, Fairfield
or Licking County (College service area). After selection of the service
projects the committee will be responsible
for securing a list of volunteers and alternates and maintaining contact with the community event organizers.
- Public Relations Committee: To be responsible for posting all notices of meetings, calendars and list of special
events at specified campus
locations. Orientation presentation to first year Criminal Justice Programs classes
every quarter. The Orientation material will be approved by the Criminal
Justice Chairperson.
- Marksmanship Committee: To be responsible for designing a firearms qualification course (Individual members
must pay fee to attend) for Rho Omega
Pi members that wish to participate in Lambda Alpha Epsilon Regional and
National Competitions. They will also be responsible for maintaining a
qualification database, scores and designing
a local chapter competition. Membership on this committee is limited to full time or part time commissioned Peace
Officers in the State of Ohio.
- Fund Raising Committee: Responsible for developing a list of fund raising projects which will be approved by
the Chapter. Also responsible for the
quarterly sale and accounting of all clothes items.
