ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
Law Enforcement - The Law Enforcement program prepares students for a variety of careers in federal, state or local law enforcement agencies.
Police Academy - This is the Academy Track Program required by the Ohio Peace Officers Training Council (OPOTC) to become a certified peace officer. Graduates of this program must pass the state exam to gain certification.
Corrections - Study of alternative models of correction and the elements of probation and parole.
 Law Enforcement Management - This is an advanced topic-area program for already commissioned law enforcement officers or graduates of law enforcement programs. It is recommended that you see the Chairperson before registering for classes.

 

Internships - All Law Enforcement and Legal Assisting majors are required to complete a 1 or 2 quarter internship. Guidelines and general information about internships are located here.
