The Athletic Center located in Delaware Hall can be used for exercise, volleyball, basketball and other desired sports.  The Fitness Center is located in the lower level of Delaware Hall and offers Nautilus equipment, life cycles, a treadmill, stair climbers, aerobics area, and locker room and shower facilities.

Aerobics: Afro Rhythms, Floor-Low Impact, Sculpt, Step, Step-Floor, and Step-High Intensity aerobics classes are held in the Fitness Center.  Additional classes may be offered or cancelled based on participation.  Please contact the Athletic office for current schedule.

Fitness Center: The Columbus State Fitness Center is located in Delaware Hall. The Center has Nautilus equipment, lifecycles, a stair climber, a treadmill, and an aerobic area. Locker rentals and instructors are available.

Hours are: Monday through Friday 6:00am-7:00pm
Closed on weekends and holidays
Open during quarter breaks

Fitness Center Guidelines:

Fun Run/Walk: This will involve running or walking in a one time sponsored event in the spring. This will be in addition to the walking or running clubs on campus. The run will be three to five miles in length. Individuals that finish will receive awards.

Locker Rental and Usage:  

Open Gym:  Appropriate clothing should be worn, including shirt and shoes.

Open gym hours:   Monday  9:00am to 12:00pm
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday  9:00am to 1:00pm
Wednesday  Closed
Weekends and Holidays Closed

P.A.W. Club: Physical fitness through Aerobics and Weight training.   This club is designed to educate individuals on the value of physical fitness. Participation requires the use of the Fitness Center aerobics or nautilus equipment a minimum of three hours per week. Participants will receive an award.

Presidential Sports Award: This is an award for individuals who participate in one or more activities (68 to choose from) for at least fifty hours over a four month period. Individuals will be awarded a presidential award. All information will be located in the Intramural Office.
