To qualify for Intramural competition:
- Participant must be a current Columbus State student, faculty
or staff member.
- Participant cannot be on probation from another intramural
activity due to conduct.
- Participant must wear the appropriate clothing for the
competition, for example non marking shoes to be worn in Delaware Hall Athletic Center.

- Basketball:
Three on Three - tournament will be contested in a double elimination format. There will
be a limited number of teams allowed to enter so be sure to look for dates and times
during Autumn Quarter. One current or past varsity Basketball player will be allowed per
team when the player is not in season. Individual awards will be given. Five on Five
- tournament will be contested in a league format. If the interest for the league is low,
then a double elimination tournament will be used as a substitute. Basketball is
open to both men and women.
- Billiards: The
billiards tournament will be held in a double elimination tournament and its available for
both men and women. There may also be a team tournament depending on the number of
participants.
- Bowling: Bowling
will be completed in a tournament form unless interest dictates the it will be a winter
league event. Trophies will be awarded to the top tow teams as well as to the best bowler.
If the interest is high there may also be a one on one tournament to establish the best
bowler on campus.
- Flag Football:
Five on five mens indoor flag football league and or tournament will be held in the
Delaware Hall Athletic Center. Rules and regulations are available in the Student
Activities/Athletics Office located in Delaware Hall Room 134. This is exciting fast paced
football.
- Ping Pong:
Ping-Pong tournament will be held during Winter Quarter. It will be contested on a best of
two of three games to advance through the tournament. Equipment for the tournament will be
provided. Awards will be presented to the top three participants.
- Racquetball:
Racquetball will be competed in a double elimination tournament format. This event will
take place off campus and may require a nominal fee for entry. Awards will be given to the
champion and runner up.
- Schick Super Hoop 3 on 3:
Three on three tournament sponsored by Schick. The winners will advance to the regional
competition to compete against area colleges. If successful, the team will then advance to
the national tournament. This event championship will be completed at half time of a
varsity basketball game. Involved in this tournament will also be a three point shoot-out.
- Mens Indoor Soccer:
Indoor soccer will consist of five players per team. Two varsity soccer student-athletes
that are out of season will be allowed to participate per team. The tournament will be
round robin unless otherwise stated. The champions will receive awards.
- Softball (COREC):
COREC tournament format will be contested during the Autumn Quarter. Two varsity softball
players and two varsity baseball players (out of season) will be allowed per team.
Individual awards will be given to the champions.
- Volleyball (COREC):
Teams will consist of four people, two men and two women. The format will be tournament
play. One varsity volleyball player will be allowed to participate per team if she is out
of season. Awards will be given to the best team after tournament play.
