In order to enroll in any mathematics course at Columbus State, students must demonstrate their qualifications for the course by means of:
the COMPASS Placement
Test,
submitting an official college
transcript, showing that a math course equivalent to the course prerequisite
has been passed with a "C-" or higher, or
by producing an official copy of a college grade report
showing that an equivalent course has been taken and passed with a grade of "C-"
or higher. If you have taken a course at a local college that you
believe to be equivalent to one of our course pre-requisites, check the Area Colleges Course
Equivalencies Guide on the Admissions Office homepage. If your college
is not listed on this page, you may contact the Mathematics Department for
further information. Be aware that you may be asked to provide an official
course description from your transfer institution.
The CSCC Bookstore has new and a limited number of used TI-83 and TI-84 graphing calculators for sale. The Bookstore also has calculator buybacks at the end of every quarter.
