Things you will need for an online/web class:

Independent learning style

You must be able to work independently and take ownership in your work. You must also be disciplined enough to set aside the time necessary to be successful in this type of course.

Internet access

You can get CougarNet from the college or use what you have.  You will do

My Math Lab coursework online so you will need a dependable ISP (Internet Service Provider).

Note:  AOL users cannot access various areas of the MML website.

An email address

You must use your Cougar email account that is provided by Columbus State.

A printer

You can use the computers and printers here on campus to print materials

but your own makes it much easier.  A printer is not a necessity, just a huge

     help.

Textbook

You will purchase the book, with your student access code enclosed, from the

      CSCC bookstore.

A three-ring binder and dividers

There’s a lot of paperwork to keep organized.

A two-pocket folder

You will submit your homework to me in the purple hanging files in the FRONT of one of the crates (Color-coordinated by instructor) in AQ 213, the Math Learning Skills Center (LSC). The folder helps keep your work organized and separated from other students work.
