The Department of Student Activities and Athletics has a number of great opportunities for involve-ment including: intercollegiate sports, intramurals, student clubs and regular college wide activities. There are plenty of activities here to help make your career at Columbus State. Participate in Recreation & Wellness Activities from pilates and soccer, to blood drives. With nearly 30 Student Organizations – covering interests such as religion, heritage, professions and hobbies – you're sure to find something that fits your needs. Or join the Student Ambassadors to get even more involved with the college. Our mission is "To complement the academic program by enhancing the overall experience of the learner". Thus, the Student Activities Office offers a variety of activities which enhance the educational experience and aid in the development of lifelong skills. These activities include student leadership development programs, clubs and organizations, and special campus-wide events.
